Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
The shadows she saw on the lawn prompted her to develop the technique that, does not, however, paint the selected object onto canvas. Instead, the object is transformed into a representation of the subject, where the surface transforms into the medium for it's individual interpretation of the subject, particularly in the case of live or perishable objects for example, like humans or fruit. The style that Alexa paints is ephemeral and only the photographs of her work survive. Because the photography and painting methods are closely coordinated, the end result is a trompe l'oeil effect, where the illusion of three dimensions can only be seen at specific locations, like the eye area or the hair. Meade occasionally integrates painted models within the surrounding space. It allows them to engage with the environment she has created. By doing so, Meade has removed the borders between painting, photography and performing.
